There has been a traffic accident on the E6 in Sarpsborg in a southerly direction. According to the fire service, the accident happened south of the Eidet tunnel.
– There are two patients who have been driven to Kalnes with pain and injuries. Not sure how serious, but it has been said that it is not critical, says operations manager Svein Walle in the Eastern police district to TV 2.
He says that the people are taken to the trauma reception at the hospital.
– Most likely, there were five cars in total that were involved, but not everyone has driven into each other.
Walle has not received the exact number of people involved in the accident, but it has been said that about 10 people.
According to Vegtrafikksentralen, there has been a chain collision.
– In the message that came to us, it was said that a person was unconscious. Now he is no longer there. There are many involved, at least five cars, Walle said earlier Tuesday.
He says that it has been a good clash.
– E6 physically blocked at Solli, and we are working to direct traffic around outside E6.
Ambulance and fire brigade are on site, and the 110 exchange writes on Twitter that the incident happened south of the Eidet tunnel.
The police informed about the accident at 12.42.
