In the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, two people were electrocuted last night after jumping on a parked train carriage. The fatal accident happened at Itzehoe station, near Hamburg.
According to the German news agency DPA, the victims climbed onto a tanker that was parked at the station. They were hit by catenary current. It would be 15,000 volts. A third person sustained burns.
According to local media, the two fatalities are young people, but the police have not yet confirmed this.
