The police received the first report of the incident at 23.17.
– A person who was in the area reported that it was a stabbing. We have a lot of resources at the scene, and an ambulance has taken the victim to hospital, says operations manager Vidar Pedersen in the Oslo police district to TV 2.
The injured person was conscious when the police arrived, and the police state that the person in question is not critically injured.
– The person is not seriously injured, but it is a serious act. We take the operation very seriously, but fortunately it looks like it went well, says the operations manager.

The stabbing took place outdoors near Furuset center. After an extensive search in the area, the police arrested two people shortly before 02 o’clock.
– There are two people who were near the scene, and investigations show that they are connected to the action. There are two young people under the age of 20, Pedersen says.
The arrested will be questioned by the police. It is not yet known how they approach the question of guilt.
