Police arrested and charged two people after receiving reports of gunshots fired in Prinsdal in Oslo on Wednesday.
This was confirmed to the VG by the head of crime in the Oslo police district, Stian Holm. Both have been charged with threats, she says.
– The investigation is still ongoing. We are now at an early stage where we collect information, review it and generate new measurements, says Holm.
– We have carried out interrogations, we have taken various kidnappings. Then we will see where it takes us.
It does not rule out that there may be more people involved in the case.
One of those arrested is a man in his thirties, according to operations manager Tor Gulbrandsen in VG.
He also says the police have not yet clarified whether the shots were actually fired. But they hope to get more information on this when the accused is questioned.
The arrest took place without drama in Oslo.
Three men are said to have fled the scene
Police searched this afternoon for three men and a dark car, who allegedly drove away from the scene. The police are in control of the car.
Police worked on the spot to clarify whether gunshots were fired, as reported by the informant.
– The man just heard it, not seen it, operations manager Tor Gulbrandsen tells the VG.
This was the only tip the police got before they left.
The accident must have taken place outdoors on a small street in Prinsdal. Gulbrandsen also says there is no suspicion that others may be injured.
