Two Patients Died, Trend of Covid-19 Cases in Banjar City Increases

TIMESINDONESIA, BANJAR – Today the Covid-19 Handling Task Force Banjar City released 31 coronavirus case addition confirmed positive. There were 262 active positive cases, dominated by 249 patients who underwent self-isolation and 13 of them underwent medical treatment at the Banjar City Hospital.

The death rate also increased after the death of J (64), a resident of Sukarame, Mekarsari Village, Banjar District, and Mrs M (56) a resident of Mekarharja Village, Purwaharja District, who added to the list of cases of Covid-19 patients who died at the Banjar City Hospital.

The memorialization of the two bodies was carried out in a timely manner and buried in the Dipatiukur Cemetery with the Covid-19 SOP.

The trend of increasing cases is shown by the remaining 2 villages in Banjar City which are still in the Green zone status, namely Neglasari and Batulawang Villages, while the others are in the red zone.

Dr Hj Ade Uu Sukaeih as the head of the Banjar City Covid-19 Handling Task Force appealed to the public to limit mobility outside the home, especially for students.

“Please parents to supervise and direct their children not to move outside because apart from Covid-19, the danger of spreading a new variant of the virus from India has entered West Java and Central Java,” he urged.
