Three people died and several were injured in a knife attack near the cathedral in Nice, France, on Thursday morning. According to the French press, two of the three dead were beheaded.
According to information advanced by Sputniknews, the attack took place next to the cathedral of Notre-Dame and the suspect have already been detained by authorities.
The same source said that shots were heard in the city center at about 9 am (8 am in Lisbon). The mayor of the city, Christian Estrosi, advanced through the social network Twitter, that this will be a terrorist attack. French President Emmanuel Macron said he would be there before lunch.
