After the splendid start with three wins against the established MTV Gifhorn, Eintracht Northeim and Arminia Hannover, the newcomer SV Ramlingen / Ehlershausen realized that the league is not a sure-fire success. Two bankruptcies abruptly ended the flight. “If we don’t show the attitude, the fight and the will to 100 percent, then no success is possible,” says coach Philipp Gasde.
The game against Egestorf on the 4th matchday was lost 2-1. His team recently lacked the necessary virtues in Wolfsburg in a 3-2 draw against Lupo Martini. The RSE could take revenge for this on Wednesday (7.15 p.m.) in its own place in the NFV Cup. But before it comes to that, the Ramlingers will play a top game on Saturday from 4 p.m. – despite the two slip-ups. As third in the table, the RSE meets League Primus SVG Göttingen in the Wahrendorff Arena. The summit is also a meeting of the best attack (RSE: twelve goals) and the most stable defense (SVG with only one hit).

RSE has something to make up for
“It’s amazing that the two newcomers play the top game. It will be a Herculean task for us, but I hope that we can get around the corner and play the game, ”says Sport Director Kurt Becker. Head coach Gasde knows that his team “has something to make up for”. His team has to adjust to the good and fast switching game of the opponent. And effectiveness is also required for one’s own offensive.
But with which formation does the RSE want to crack the opponent who made it to the top with a minimal lead of 0.01 points per game over SSV Kästorf? “We won’t start with the same starting line-up as in Wolfsburg. I make the decision after the final training, ”says Gasde.
Björn Masur and Lasse Neubert, who have recovered, will also join the squad. The newcomer from 1. FC Wunstorf recommended after an injury break with a good performance in the reserve. On the other hand, Melvin Meyer (after a torn muscle fiber in the training build-up), Illias Papadopoulos (build-up training) and Christopher Weindl (abdominal muscle strain) have to pass the endeavor to achieve home win number two.
