Two New York dogs will compete in a national contest

Two canines from the city’s law enforcement agencies will compete with other dogs in a national contest.

This dog is named Zoey, she is a drug sniffer and will be accompanied by the correctional officer, Lawrence McArdle for the contest in North Carolina, called Detection Dog Challenge.

With Zoey will also go Zada, who is part of the NYPD canine unit.

Both quadrupeds will face off against 10 of the best canine narcotics sniffing and explosives detection teams in the entire United States.

The event is sponsored by the American Kennel Club and the Police Canine Association in the United States.
