two new cases of COVID-19 infection and one closed school

Two new cases of Coronavirus infection are listed in Seine-Saint-Denis. Twelve people are currently positive for COVID-19 in the department.

A closed kindergarten

A teacher from the Jacqueline Quatremaire nursery school in Drancy is among the infected. The Ile-de-France regional health agency, the academic authorities and the prefect of Seine-Saint-Denis have decided to close this establishment until March 17, inclusive. For the moment, it is the only closed establishment in the department.

In two other establishments, certain classes do not take place. These are the Paul Éluard college in Montreuil until March 10 inclusive and the Blaise Cendrars high school in Sevran until March 18 inclusive.

The prefect also banned an evangelistic gathering planned for this weekend at Blanc-Mesnil, 2,000 people from several departments were expected.
