Two new additions to the SKN St. Pölten

On the last day of the transfer time, Bundesliga soccer team SKN St. Pölten added two more players. The “Wolves”, whose transfer ban had expired at the beginning of January, secured the services of the Jamaican striker Cory Burke and the German left-back Kofi Schulz. The Lower Austria announced on Thursday.

Cory Burke will switch from MLS club Philadelphia Union to SKN on loan until summer 2020. The 28-year-old striker scored 12 goals in 36 MLS games and has already played 18 caps (6 goals) for Jamaica. The 1.93m tall striker will appear with shirt number 9 in the spring season.

General Manager Andreas Blumauer: “We are very happy that we have successfully completed the transfer from Cory. He has all the qualities we expect from a striker. I am therefore convinced that he will help us in the coming months. “

The 30-year-old Schulz last kicked for second division Amstetten. With the duo, St. Pölten has eight new additions in winter.
