From a first reconstruction, yet to be confirmed, it would seem that the reprocessed swabs of Immobile and Leiva have given a negative result, while that of Strakosha it seems to be positive. On Tuesday, the lawyer Gentile had declared: “The trial, if ever there will be, concerns an entrepreneur from Avellino and any problems he may have with the Avellino prosecutor. If by chance some wrongly reported buffer should come out, Lazio and its players would be injured parties“.
UPDATE AT 11.30 PM – They ended late in the evening, at the Moscati hospital in Avellino, i counter-exams on the pads of Lazio players carried out in recent days by Futura Diagnostica. The checks were repeated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office who, with the help of an expert, wanted to verify the discrepancy in the results of the swabs of three players (Immobile, Leiva and Strakosha), negative results in Avellino and positive in the subsequent tests carried out by UEFA (pre Zenit), and then again negative and subsequently positive again. The response is now awaited of the Moscati hospital.
The examinations, ordered by the Public Prosecutor of Avellino, on the swabs processed by the multi-specialist center of Avellino, Futura Diagnostica, relating to the players of the Lazio. The expert appointed by the assistant prosecutor of Avellino, Vincenzo D’Onofrio, the medical director of the laboratory of microbiology and virology of the “Moscati” hospital, Maria Landi, in practice will reprocess about one hundred swabs made on 6 November, before the Lazio-Juventus match, on players, family members and staff of the club led by Claudio Lotito. Swabs whose results were negative compared to the positivity found by the swabs carried out by the Synlab and Campus Biomedico laboratories on the same players. The consultant appointed by Futura Diagnostica, Marilina Scalone, attends the exam. The hypothesis that the Avellino Prosecutor disputes the CEO of Futura Diagnostica, Massimiliano Taccone, registered in the register of suspects, includes crimes of forgery, fraud in public supplies and culpable epidemic.
