Two MPs fired for inactivity because of school shooting in Florida are due to be reinstated

Two MPs fired for inactivity in a school shooting in Florida that killed 17 people will have to be reinstated with a back payment, according to a judge.

Broward County MPs Brian Miller and Joshua Stambaugh were sacked after the 2018 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Now Broward Circuit Judge Keathan Frink has ruled that last year the umpires rightly ruled that the dismissed MPs should get their jobs back.
