The accident happened after 9 pm on Kubánské náměstí, in the direction of V Olšinách Street.
“This is an accident between a tram and two men aged 63 and 39. Both of them ended up in the care of the emergency services. The street V Olšinách, the direction from Kubánské náměstí to Strašnice, had to be closed,” police spokesman Jan Rybanský told Novinka.
Rescuers sent two rescue teams, an investigator and a doctor to the site.
“We have arrested two men. Both were injured, and the attending doctor suspected that the older one was the suspect. After treatment, we took both of them to the hospital,” said Karel Kirs, a spokesman for the rescuers.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
