Over the Easter weekend, two men lost their lives in Lindesnes in what are believed to be two separate accidents. It has been decided that both will be autopsied.
– An autopsy is to get the best possible picture of what has happened, says police station chief Bernt Mushom in Mandal to Fathers
He is believed to have fallen into the water on his way home from a night out on Sunday night. The police have questioned witnesses in order to get a better understanding of what may have happened.
The other, also a man in his 20s, was retrieved from the water at Tjøm in Lindesnes on Sunday afternoon after being missing for several days. The man was part of a tour group, and the police assume that he fell into the water at some point.
The police describe both cases as tragic accidents with the worst possible outcome.
