Two Men Arrested for Burning Dung on Delhi-Bound Train to Beat Cold

Aligarh: Two people were arrested after burning dung in a train running to escape the cold. Chandan and Devendra were arrested. The incident took place in Sampark Kranti Superfast Express which was going from Assam to Delhi. After seeing fire and smoke inside the coach of the train, the gateman informed the information to the railway police. The railway officials said that they saw it at the right time and a major disaster was averted.

A gateman on duty near Burhan railway station near Aligarh saw the fire burning inside the coach. He immediately informed his superiors. Then the railway police stopped the train at the nearest station. It was later discovered that the fire was started with cow dung in the general coach. The fire was immediately extinguished and 16 people in the group were taken into custody. Then Chandan and Devendra were arrested. 14 others were released with a warning.
