A car ran out of control in Søgne in Sørlandet on Friday morning. After a long car chase, two men were arrested. The police used a nail mat to stop the car.
It was at 5.50 that the car escaped from the police checkpoint.
The car had a stolen boat on a trailer, which fell off the car. The car chase started at Søgne in Kristiansand and ended at Ime in Mandal. The two men in the car have been arrested.
– The car drove over a nail mat on the E39 a little west of Mandal, writes the Agder police Twitter.
The car chase went on for almost an hour and a half, operation manager Øyvind Hægeland in the Agder police district told NTB.
– The hunt mostly took place on the country roads north of Mandal. They also stopped by E39 a bit, says the operations manager.
No one was injured in connection with the incident. The stolen boat is also just as intact.
– Both the arrested men are in their 30s and known to the police from before, says Hægeland.
