The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) was linked to proceedings against two members of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG), identified as Federico “R” and Octavio “M”, for being allegedly responsible for the crime of illicit theft of hydrocarbons. .
Information from the Federal Public Ministry states that last September, “based on intelligence and field work, in coordination with elements of the Secretariat of Public Security of the State of Guanajuato, the FGR responded to an anonymous complaint that referred to the location of a shot clandestine in the Industrial neighborhood, in León, where a tractor-trailer guarded by several armed people was located, some of whom managed to escape.
However, two people were arrested when they illegally stole hydrocarbons from a Petróleos Mexicanos pipeline, and four cell phones, a drone, a pipe with a capacity of 30 thousand liters (three-quarters full) and attached to a tractor, were seized from them. as well as a vehicle reported stolen and equipped with four containers of one thousand liters each.
After integrating the investigation file, and after the evidence data provided, the federal judge ordered the two detainees to be prosecuted and imposed the justified precautionary measure of preventive detention.
