Two fires broke out on Wednesday February 10 around 4 p.m. at the Saint François convent, a former military hospital in Bastia.
At the call of the people of the district, the firefighters of Bastia intervened to extinguish two mattresses on fire in two different rooms. In recent years, this place has been completely abandoned and squatted. When contacted, the firefighters recalled that they regularly intervene at this location for waste fires but also and above all, on fires of vehicles located in the parking lot adjacent to the convent.
