Star in the Star, among a thousand tribulations related to low ratings (which also made Mediaset lean towards the reduction of the program), is preparing to celebrate the final, which will air on October 14th. In the past few hours, however, the penultimate act of the Canale Cinque talent show took place, which saw two masks succumb. To leave the competition were the imitators of Pino Daniele e by Claudio Baglioni.
Under the mask of the unforgettable Campania artist he hid Sal Da Vinci, aka Salvatore Michael Sorrentino. No surprise: judges and the public had long understood that the ‘secret’ competitor he was the Neapolitan singer-songwriter born in New York in 1969.
The other elimination concerned Claudio Baglioni’s ‘greasepaint’, played by Luca Laurenti. Even in this case, no twist: from the first episode it was understood that competing in Star in the Star was the historic shoulder of Paolo Bonolis. “Do you know him?”the judges asked him. The dry answer that removed that half doubt remained: “I see him more than my wife”. Down, the mask. Voila: here is Laurenti.
In the last episodes they left the game:
- Sugar (Adriano Pappalardo)
- Madonna (Daniela Martani)
- Paul McCartney (Ronn Moss)
- Patty Pravo (Gloria Guida)
- Elton John (Massimo Di Cataldo)
Instead, the following masks remain in the running for the final victory, which will be played all out in the final act scheduled for next week:
- Lady Gaga
- Loredana Bertè
- Michael Jackson
- Mina
Star in the Star, the totonomi on the finalist masks
Almost all the masks in the final, despite not having been revealed, leave little doubt about who they hide. Under the ‘greasepaint’ of Loredana Bertè there should be Syria, under that of Michael Jackson Alexia. Mina and Lady Gaga are the most difficult to identify, even if in the last episode the idea that Lola Ponce is playing the Tiger of Cremona has taken on more and more importance. Lady Gaga is instead the most indecipherable character: the names of Deborah Iurato and Silvia Salemi circulate, but nothing is taken for granted.
