The Frutillita Nursery and Kindergarten in Frutillar and the Mi Nueva Aventura Nursery and Kindergarten in Puerto Varas received the Official Recognition plaques from the Regional Ministry of Education, in a ceremony that took place at the Frutillar Library and that had the participation of regional and communal authorities.
Official Recognition is considered a fundamental element for Early Childhood Education, since compliance with legal, technical-pedagogical and infrastructure requirements allows ensuring a high standard of operation in the establishments of the level. In this line, the Director of SLEP Llanquihue, Claudia Trillo, assured that it is a transcendental moment for the communities because the educational service of two Nursery Schools and Kindergartens is normalized “We are happy to receive the Official Recognition from the Seremi de Educación, since it certifies the delivery of a quality educational service, complying with the regulations covering legal, technical-pedagogical and infrastructure requirements. Today we are advancing towards the standard that the regulations dictate so that the entire community can deliver and receive a quality education.”
The ceremony, which included the presentation of the CNB Artistic Ensemble, also highlighted the value of the first educational level, where the Seremi de Educación, Daniela Carvacho, took the opportunity to congratulate the educational communities of the Nurseries and Kindergartens for obtaining this recognition and stressed the important challenges for the Llanquihue Local Public Education Service in the certification of all Early Childhood Education establishments of its administration “This recognition means that they comply with the provision of a high standard service to infants and that is very significant because the Local Service has a great challenge, which is to certify a total of 14 Nursery Schools and Kindergartens, therefore, there is a job to achieve 12 more certifications, and I also highlight the participation of the educational communities, the directors, educators of preschoolers, parents and children because this is a triumph and a collective achievement”.
Law No. 20,832 establishes that all Nursery Schools and Kindergartens that receive state contributions must have this certification, and in the case of the Llanquihue Local Public Education Service, they have obtained two certifications out of a total of 14 Nursery Schools and Kindergartens.
