Sabrina Villagómez (15) and Gilvante “Gio” Roberson (21) died in a traffic accident that left another 17-year-old teenager in critical condition in The Bronx (NYC) early Sunday morning.
The tragedy happened after A 23-year-old driver lost control of his car and crashed into a parked truck. Villagómez was a resident of Nanuet (Rockland County) and Roberson was a resident of Brooklyn, reported LoHud.com.

Clarence G. Ellis, superintendent of the East Ramapo Central School District, sent a letter to the school community on Monday informing them of the incident. He said Villagomez was a sophomore at Ramapo High School and that his friend Torres is a senior there.
“This news is devastating for our entire school community. of East Ramapo and our hearts go out to the families and friends of these two students,” Ellis said.
Rescuers at the scene said that the Chrysler was destroyed and that the tanker suffered serious damage to the front.
Daughtry said another group of Drivers attempting similar stunts closed parts of Grand Central Parkway and at least one driver in that incident was arrested. “There is a clear message to those who engage in this type of criminal behavior: if you drive recklessly on our city streets, endangering the lives of innocent pedestrians and motorists, you will be ARRESTED. “The safety of New Yorkers should not be compromised.”
