Two Israeli Civilians Killed by Anti-Tank Missile from Lebanon in Border Clash with Hezbollah

Two Israeli civilians have been killed by an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon. Emergency services from Israel report this. A forty-year-old man died immediately and a 70-year-old woman died from her injuries.

The rocket hit a house in Kfar Yuval, a village in northern Israel on the Lebanese border. The border region between Israel and Lebanon has been turbulent since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, 2023.

The militant movement Hezbollah is active in the border region. Shelling between Israel and Lebanon has intensified in recent months.

More than 140 Hezbollah fighters have been killed since October 7, along with at least 25 civilians. On the Israeli side, nine soldiers and four civilians were killed in the battle with its northern neighbors.
