KOLLUM – Two occupants of a delivery van were injured in an accident on the WH van Heemstraweg in Kollum on Sunday evening. The accident occurred at approximately 9:25 p.m.
The two injured were taken to hospital by ambulance. In addition to the police and ambulance staff, the Buitenpost fire brigade also helped. They installed screens.
Another van was involved in the accident. This would have pushed the other van off the road. The cause should be sought in the relational sphere.
The driver of the other van was arrested at the scene by the police because he was involved in an accident with an injured person.
