There is a large police presence in the center of Oslo after the shooting. Two people are injured, and the police are hunting for a possible perpetrator or persons.
The shooting is said to have taken place in the area of the National Theater and Vika. VG’s photographer on the scene says that there are several cordoned off areas in Stortingsgata and Klingenberggata. The police also have a tent at the site with a car under it.
The police write that the mission was initially defined as PLIVO, which means ongoing life-threatening violence, but this was reversed after some time.
According to the police, two people have injuries that are consistent with the use of firearms.
– The police are searching the area for the perpetrator(s).
Operations manager Alexander Østergård tells VG that the police believe there is no danger to other members of the public.
– Everything indicates that this is a targeted attack. The injuries to the two are described as serious, but not life-threatening, he says.
– The search for the perpetrator or persons is in full swing.
The two injured have both been taken to hospital, writes NTB. Operations leader Magnus Strande tells the news city year that there is probably a conflict that has started inside a bar in Klingenberggata.
– Do you have any clues to follow?
– I do not wish to comment on that at the present time. We work widely, collect witness interviews on the spot and we also collect video material that can help solve the case.

According to the tipster, a person allegedly ran from the scene.
Another tipster says that the police have cordoned off a large area, and that armed police are on the scene.
