According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Guatemalan Consular Group in the city of Arriaga, Chiapas, Mexico, was responsible for caring for the two injured Guatemalans, aged 21 and 41 respectively. The accident happened when a vehicle ran over a group of more than 600 migrants on the Pan-American Highway.

The event took place in the city of Niltepec, Oaxaca. The incident left at least three people dead, including a small one, and 17 injured.

The status of the wounded Guatemalan
“It was reported that a 41-year-old man, originally from Chiquimulilla, Santa Rosa, was released and the two injured.
