Two first ladies were among the avid music lovers at the premiere of the ballet “Pilate’s Dream” on Saturday night – Desislava Radeva, but without her husband Rumen Radev, and Antonina Stoyanova, who accompanied her husband Peter Stoyanov.

Together with the biggest pop stars such as Vasil Naidenov, Kristina Dimitrova, Vasil Petrov, composers Stefan Diomov and Zhivko Petrov, Mihail Belchev with his wife Kristina and their son Konstantin, they watched the show.

Restrictions due to the pandemic forced Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture to be only 30% full, and tickets ran out long before the show. He is exceptional both in his scale and because of the music – for the first time our contemporary composer – the talented Stefan Dimitrov writes a ballet inspired by the classic “The Master and Margarita” by Mikhail Bulgakov. That’s why the applause after it was long and unstoppable. “Unique music of Stefan Dimitrov!”, “Amazing premiere” and “Unique performers of the State Opera – Stara Zagora”, commented people from the audience as they left the hall.
