On July 18, in honor of Ikšķile’s 835th birthday, two exclusive concerts took place on Meinards Island, with composer Uldis Marhilevičs, singers Aija Andrejeva and Ivo Fomins, as well as an accompanying group.

A concert on the island is also planned for next summer to make it a good tradition.
