Two Dutchmen arrested after explosive attack Germany | Inland

The suspects are a 30-year-old Dutchman and a 26-year-old man who has Dutch, Spanish and Moroccan nationality. They tried to blow up an ATM in the town of Neheim, east of Dortmund, in the early morning last Saturday. When that failed, they fled, but officers managed to arrest the duo.

The Public Prosecution Service in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate has been investigating a Dutch gang that allegedly committed explosions in Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia since June.

Germany has been bothered for some time by Dutch people who commit explosions there. After the explosion, they often flee, with or without loot, in high-speed cars. In doing so, they perform breakneck tasks to shake off pursuing agents. Germany therefore speaks of the ‘Audi prayer’.
