Three people were detained for 24 hours in the case of the murder of a woman in a park in Boyana in Sofia, bTV reports.
According to the information, one of the arrested has two previous sentences. One is for murder, while the other is for inflicting bodily harm.
The incident itself happened on Tuesday at 15.20, when a 63-year-old woman was hit on the head with a stone slab while sitting on a bench.
She died on the spot. The attacker is a man.
The report of the murder was given on 112 by a witness. The victim’s bag was found not far from the place of the attack.
In addition to the SDVR, the Homicide Department of the National Police is also working on the case. The motives for the crime are still being clarified, and it is not yet clear whether the theft was the main factor or whether it was a personal matter.
