Tenkashippattanam is a film directed by Rafi McCartney with Suresh Gopi, Lal, Dileep, Geethu Mohandas, Samyuktha Varma and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles. Today marks two decades of the film’s successful history. Released in 2000, the film was produced by Lal himself under the banner of Lal Creations. Lal has now shared his success story of twenty years.

Two decades have passed since the legendary success of breaking all collection records in Malayalam. Lal said that he is thankful to the Malayalees who still share their memories with the film. Rafi McCartney wrote the story, screenplay and dialogues for Tenkasipatnam. Lyricist is Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri and composer is Suresh Peters. Tenkashipatnam is the biggest hit film of the year 2000. The film has been remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bengali.
