Two Dead in Gothenburg Shooting: Police Investigating Murder

At 11pm on Saturday evening, the police received a report of loud bangs in the south of Gothenburg.

– We were sitting inside watching TV when we heard four to six shots being fired nearby. A short time later, perhaps five to seven minutes later, the police and ambulances arrived in full force, a witness said Gothenburg Post.

The police therefore rushed to the scene, and there they found two men with gunshot wounds.

Both people were taken to hospital, but their lives could not be saved.

One of those killed is aged 25, while the other is around 30 years old.

– The police currently have no secure connection to gang environments in connection with this incident, they write on their website.

Several people have been taken in for questioning, but by 6 o’clock on Sunday morning no one had been arrested.

The crime scene investigation was completed at 4 o’clock.
