Two dead and five wounded leave a shooting in a bar on the River Walk in San Antonio | Univision 41 San Antonio KWEX

Two people lost their lives and five more were injured after unleashing a shooting this Sunday night at a well-known bar in San Antonio, Texas.

After 8 p.m. police officers answered an emergency call from Ventura bar, a nightly music center, located in the 1000 block of Avenue B on the River Walk of San Antonio.

William McManus, San Antonio police chief, said an argument led to the shooting inside the establishment. The victims of the fateful incident were entirely visitors to the nightclub.

In total, seven people received bullet impacts. A 21-year-old man died inside the club, while a second person in critical condition was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Five people are currently being treated in hospitals in the area. Their conditions are not clear at this time, police said.

So far victims have not been identified. However, it is reported that one of the victims is a 21-year-old man.

Authorities said they have no suspects in custody, but reported that the investigation is ongoing.

“We are working on it, I trust that we will identify the person and have him in custody as soon as possible,” McManus said.
