Two Covid-19 patients from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region transferred to Rouen University Hospital

Two Covid-19 patients from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region were transferred to Seine-Maritime this Monday, December 27 to be treated in intensive care at the CHU Charles-Nicolle in Rouen.

This medical evacuation is intended to provide support to health establishments in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and relieve the most impacted intensive care units in this region.

“These transfers, explains the Normandy Regional Health Agency, are the result of close collaboration between the SAMUs of Normandy and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the medical teams of the health establishments of departure and destination, the Health crisis center of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health, and the ARS of the regions concerned”.
