Today’s episode of StarDance did not escape the covid pandemic. In addition to the classic elimination, another dancing couple left the competition due to the repeated absence, namely Mirai Navrátil and Lenka Nora Návorková. At the end of today’s episode, which we watched live for you again, Tereza Černochová and Dominik Vodička, a couple, were eliminated.
The audience at the beginning of Saturday night was welcomed by a stable moderating duo consisting of Marek Eben and Tereza Kostková. Václav Kuneš, Tatiana Drexler, Richard Genzer sat on the jury again, and Zdeněk Chlopčík also returned.
Therefore, only four pairs remain in the competition, namely Martina Viktorie Kopecká and Marek Dědík, Jan Cina and Adriana Mašková, Tereza Černochová and Dominik Vodička and Tomáš Verner and Kristýna Coufalová. You will dance two dances today.
Pavel Trávníček and Veronika Lálová, Zdeněk Godla and Tereza Prucková, Marika Šoposká and Robin Ondráček, Andrea Sestini Hlaváčková and Michal Necpál have already left the competition and dropped out due to elimination. The double absence then deprived the couple of further participation consisting of Simona Babčáková and Martin Prágr and Mirai Navrátil and Lenka Nora Návorková.
Tomáš Verner and Kristýna Coufalová, who danced the waltz, were the first to head to the dance floor. The jurors appreciated the quality of movement and figures, but emotions were lacking. The couple took 34 points for them and other small mistakes.
Jan Cina and Adriana Mašková danced like another jive, but Drexler was not there. Despite the fact that everything else was great in her opinion, the rhythm was missing. The other jurors also agreed and awarded the pair only 29 points.
Martina Viktorie Kopecká and Marek Dědík then performed on the floor with a passo double. According to Chlopčík, the dance was monotonous, yet he and the rest of the jurors appreciated the huge effort. For mild mistakes, for example when working with the knees, they scored 30 points.
The last pair in the first round is Tereza Černochová and Dominik Vodička, who danced the waltz. The jurors appreciated the choreography, techniques and movement. 37 points were then made from one ten.
In the second round, Tomáš Verner and Kristýna Coufalová were the first to dance again, namely a group contemporary dance to the song The Hanging Tree, which comes from the film Hunger Games, where it was sung by actress Jennifer Lawrence. The jury practically did not mention any mistakes and, on the contrary, praised their performance and appreciated the full number of 40 points.
The second contemporary dance was performed with a group of dancers Jan Cina and Adriana Mašková on the song Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotya. Their performance touched the jury and took another 40 points.
Martina Viktorie Kopecká and Marek Dědík danced contemporary dance third, and together with the dancers they performed choreography for the instrumental soundtrack of John Williams from the film Schindler’s List. The jury appreciated it and added that it was probably the best dance that the couple would perform in the competition. She then awarded 39 points in the evaluation.
Tereza Černochová and Dominik Vodička performed the last contemporary dance with a group of dancers. Here it was no longer without mistakes and compared to the previous three dances, this one was evaluated by the jury as slightly worse. This was reflected in the evaluation of only 34 points.
In the end, a couple consisting of Tereza Černochová and Dominik Vodička left the competition.
