The third man, Hans van M., is released for the time being. He is said to have posted videos on the internet in which he threatened Minister De Jonge and Van Dissel. In another video, according to the Public Prosecution Service, the suspect is guilty of libel and slander against a doctor from Bodegraven.
‘Incredibly sorry’
The man said in court today that he was carried away by conspiracy theorists Joost Knevel and Wouter Raatgever during an introductory session and that he has “indescribable regrets”. The court called it a sincere apology. Van M. may await the further course of his criminal case in freedom.
Raatgever (54) and Knevel (43) were also on trial today. During the hearing, Knevel said that he agreed to a psychiatric and psychological examination in the PBC, Raatgever had opposed admission.

Knevel has become convinced that he was abused in his childhood by Van Dissel and a general practitioner and that he witnessed satanic infanticide. His unfounded story was embraced and further spread by conspiracy theorists Raatgever and Micha Kat in videos on the online platform Red Pill Journal, in which Knevel also contributed.
“They keep repeating stories that ministers are involved in child abuse and the corona measures are criminal, intended to cover the abuse,” the prosecutor said.
Extreme conspiracy thinking
Gaggle may have a mental disorder. The court ruled that there is extreme conspiracy thinking, which should be further investigated in the Pieter Baan Center.
Requests from counsel for Raatgever to suspend his pre-trial detention were rejected by the court because of the risk of flight and the risk of repetition. Raatgever has been serving a nine-month prison sentence since June, three of which are conditional. He was arrested in his cell at the end of September on new suspicions. The Public Prosecution Service is now prosecuting him again for inciting and threatening Van Dissel. Raatgever is also suspected of defamation and slander.
The Public Prosecution Service also hopes that Kat will be present at the next session in three months. He is held in a cell in Northern Ireland. There, a judge will decide in January whether he will be extradited to the Netherlands.
