Jadon Sancho claimed to have said long ago to Borussia Dortmund about wanting to move to Manchester United. Dortmund was ready to let him go to MU with two conditions.
The claim was made by Dharmesh Sheth from Sky Sports. From the information he got, Sancho and his representatives have confirmed their desire to join MU if the opportunity exists.
Dortmund then responded. The German club has given the green light for Jadon Sancho’s departure as long as the Red Devils fulfill their requests during the negotiation process. It failed to be done Manchester United.
“Today I was told that Sancho and his representatives had said long before August 1 that he wanted to take on the challenge of playing elsewhere and joining Manchester United, “said Sheth on The Transfer Show, which was quoted as saying Express.
“Response Dortmund is they want to let him go on two conditions. The first is if United make a bid of 108 million pounds and the second is if the bid comes before 1 August. The deadline was then increased to August 10. We know that United ultimately made an offer this week, but that did not fulfill both Dortmund conditions. “
“United’s initial offer was 73 million pounds at the start plus an extra, but it has been rejected,” he said.
Dortmund recently did not bring Jadon Sancho along for the German Super Cup match against Bayern Munich. Some have speculated it is related to a potential transfer to Manchester United, but Sheth said Sancho was not fit. The British player has a respiratory infection, although not due to COVID-19 as confirmed in the results of his club’s medical tests.
“There are two things that must be emphasized here. There are questions about Sancho’s illness this week, in the same week that Manchester United made an offer. I got information that it was purely a coincidence,” said Sheth.
“Secondly, there is the question of why Sancho didn’t try to force a move during the offer United come? It’s simple, the offer that was rejected was in Dortmund’s realm. There are also two reasons for this (rejection). The payout was 35 million pounds less than Dortmund’s valuation, that’s the main reason Jadon Sancho doesn’t feel agitated. “
“(His second) offer came 50 days after Dortmund’s deadline on a deal. From a perspective Sancho, it is now focused on playing for Borussia Dortmund,” tutur Sheth.
