Yesterday, the Medical College of Catamarca (CMC) made two criminal complaints in the provincial Attorney General’s Office for ?? illegal practice of medicine ??, against two people.
As reported by the CMC on social networks, one of the defendants announces himself as an “ophthalmologist,” in the Tinogasta department. and you are not enrolled in this institution. The person can not practice medicine in our province ??.
On the other hand, the CMC indicated that the other complaint was made against a doctor whose registration was provisionally suspended by resolution 145/2019, dated May 28, 2019 of the Board of Directors and that was published in the bulletin province official number 48 dated June 14, 2019. This situation was detected in Recreo, La Paz department. The possible provision of general surgery services was also exposed to be investigated, without having obtained specialist registration from this institution. This last complaint is made after the corresponding letter warning document and request to regularize the situation.
Furthermore, in the communiqué issued by the CMC authorities, they also expressed their appreciation for the
members who collaborated to detect these irregular situations.
