Two people have been arrested in the case, states the police in Stockholm.
The two children were found outside an apartment block and taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter, reports Aftonbladet.
The police became aware of the incident at 21.46 on Sunday. The two children are both under ten years old. Aftonbladet is informed that another person has been found injured in an apartment, allegedly an adult.
– Two children under the age of ten have been found seriously injured. We suspect that they have fallen from a great height, from a dwelling. We can not rule out that something criminal has happened, says police spokesperson Helena Boström Thomas.
According to Expressen is the man who was found in the house at the age of 45 and is suspected of being behind the incident.
– Two people have been arrested within the framework of the first investigations. There are two adults who have a relationship with the children, says Boström Thomas to the newspaper.
The two people are a man and a woman.
Several police patrols have been sent to the site, and a large area has been cordoned off. During the evening, a technical inspection will be carried out on site.
