The tin corruption case that dragged the names of Harvey Moeis and Helena Lim shocked the public.
This is because the 16 tin corruption suspects have caused losses to the state of IDR 271 trillion.
After the disclosure of the 16 suspects, it is now said that there will be two big artists who will soon be named as suspects.
The Attorney General’s Office or Attorney General’s Office is said to have pocketed the names of the two artists.
This was stated by the General Chair of National Corruption Watch (NCW) Hanifa Sutrisna.
He said there were several artists who were also involved in the tin corruption case after Harvey Moeis and Helena Lim were named as suspects.
“With the involvement of Harvey Moeis, Helena Lim, several people from the Attorney General’s Office said there were also celebrities who were named as suspects,” said Hanifa in a video spread on Instagram.
“From information from the Attorney General’s Office, there are six additional suspects,” he continued.
Apart from that, lawyer Kamaruddin Simanjuntak also provided comments regarding this tin corruption case.
He said that the 16 suspects who had been arrested were minor parties in this major corruption case.
Kamaruddin also asked the Attorney General’s Office to immediately eradicate the big bosses who were also involved in this tin corruption.
“These high-class people who were arrested were the small ones, those who employed them have not been arrested,” said Kamarudin.
He also asked for an examination of the family members of corruption suspects.
“That’s how it should be, wives/husbands, parents, children, brothers and sisters, in-laws should all be examined because they might have anticipated that,” he continued.
