two cases of the Brazilian variant detected in Haute-Savoie

The ARS confirmed this Monday February 8 that two cases of the Brazilian variant of Covid-19 had been detected in Haute-Savoie. The carriers of the virus are two people who have been together, “in the same situation “ indicates the Regional Health Agency which does not specify where they reside.

According to information revealed this Monday by our colleagues from France Bleu Pays de Savoie and confirmed by the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Health Agency, two cases of the Brazilian variant of Covid-19 were detected at the end of last week in Haute- Savoy.

No indication on the place where these two cases were identified but the ARS nevertheless specifies that they are two people infected together, “in the same situation”.

As a reminder, it was also in Haute-Savoie, in Vallorcine a few weeks ago that one of the first cases of the British variant had already discovered.
