CIANJUR, iNewsCianjur.id – Two residents in Cibadak Village, Cibeber District, tested positive for Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD), Sunday (31/12/2023).
The Head of Cibadak Village, Cibeber District, Elan Hermawan, confirmed that there were two cases of dengue fever in his area.
“Yes, that’s right, there are two cases of dengue fever in Cibadak Village, one of which is the village ambulance driver who tested positive for dengue fever,” said Elan, Sunday (31/12/2023).
Elan said that in response to this, his party was trying to act quickly by carrying out fumigation or fogging in the homes of residents who were targets of the spread of dengue fever.
“We immediately acted quickly to carry out fumigation in the home environment which was spreading dengue mosquitoes,” he said.
According to Elan, fumigation is carried out as a measure to anticipate the spread of adult mosquitoes (DHF), so that they do not spread to other environments.
“For effective steps, sanitation or spraying will be carried out using pesticides and/or cleaning up puddles of water that are not in use,” he explained.
