Two cars involved in a road accident in the Bjørvika tunnel

The right and middle lanes in the tunnel are closed due to the accident, writes Vegtrafikksentralen Øst.

The police wrote that everyone involved is out of the vehicles. A truck and a car are involved.

– The accident may have occurred related to a lane change, the police write.

They also write that no one is seriously injured, but that one person complains of back pain.

– It was initially reported that three cars were involved, but one had only stopped because of the accident, says operations manager Per-Ivar Iversen in the Oslo police district to NTB.

He says a crane truck has been ordered, and the fields are unlikely to be closed for long.

– One row is still open. There will be some queues, but we have to put up with that, says Iversen.
