The emergency services have responded to a frontal collision on the E16 in Hønefoss.
Two cars and three people are involved.
– A person is trapped. The air ambulance is on its way, the South-East police district wrote on Twitter initially.
The accident happened on the E16 at Havresletta. The traffic is in both directions.
– It may seem that it is a serious accident, says operations manager Trond Egil Groth to TV 2.
Just after 11 pm, the police state that three injured people have been taken to hospital.
One person is described as seriously injured, but the operations manager informs that no life-threatening injuries have been reported.
Operations Manager André Kråkenes says that a number of investigations must be done on site, and that this will take some time. It will therefore have consequences for on-site traffic.
At 04:30 on Saturday night, Kråkenes informs that the police and the accident group have finished on the spot, and that the road is open for normal traffic.
