two blood brothers settle their accounts for the umpteenth time in court.

A family case lands before the High Court of Pikine / Guédiawaye. Indeed, Mr. Tamsir Seck was the victim of death threats on several occasions from his brother Mame Cheikh Seck who is the defendant. On the day of the events, the respondent did not wait patiently. He threatened the civil party by brandishing a machete and insulting him. In the meantime, the victim Tamsir Seck went to file a complaint at the Pikine police station.

On the stand, the 25-year-old defendant denied threatening his brother. “The problem is that my brother Tamsir would like to appropriate the house which belongs to our father. He does not support my presence in this house”, he says.

In turn, the plaintiff Tamsir Seck guns down his sister in front of the court. “She is worse than a germ. She got everyone out of the house, including my wife who ended up divorcing her. My brother threatened me with death,” he said.

Speaking, the deputy prosecutor who did not want to make an indictment refers to the decision of the Court.

As for the defence, it pleads for the acquittal in the main and a benevolent application of the law in the alternative. Finally, the judge after having deliberated declared Mame Cheikh Seck guilty before sentencing him to 6 months’ imprisonment, one month of which is firm.
