After a police chase on the A4 in South Holland, two men were arrested this afternoon. During the chase, police fired a warning shot.
Police intervened after a woman at her home on Allard Piersonstraat in Rotterdam was threatened with a firearm by her former partner, reports Transmission in the West. The man then got into a car with another man and drove away.
The agents then give chase. The car crossed the A13 to the A4. Police deployed a helicopter to track the car. The officers managed to block the car at the exit of the A4 near Den Hoorn.
With handguns drawn and a warning shot fired, officers coaxed the suspects out of the car. They were both subsequently arrested. A firearm was also found in the car.
