Two young adults, from Isère, were arrested in an apartment in Villeurbanne, near Lyon, where they were holding a 15-year-old girl against her will, pushing them into prostitution.
Two men aged 18 and 20 were indicted on Tuesday, May 23, for “aggravated pimping” and for “kidnapping and kidnapping in an organized gang” by a Grenoble magistrate.
The information revealed by the Dauphiné Libéréwas confirmed this Wednesday by the Grenoble prosecutor’s office.
The two young adults, Isérois, were arrested last Friday in an apartment in Villeurbanne, in the Lyon area. They were holding a 15-year-old girl against her will. She gave the alert, by message, to a friend who called the police.
It would seem that the teenager had been prostituting herself in the accommodation for several weeks, under the leadership of the two men. These punctured part of the money collected during the passes. A dispute would have arisen on Friday concerning the sums subtracted from the girl. The two individuals would then have held the teenager against her will for a few hours, until the intervention of a crew from the Rhône public security.
The two men, already known to justice, were arrested and taken into custody. The Lyon prosecutor’s office relinquished the case in favor of that of Grenoble, during the weekend. The investigation was therefore entrusted to the Grenoble branch of the judicial police.
After 96 hours in police custody, the two young adults were indicted and placed under a warrant.
