According to authorities, the accident involved two vehicles. One, exiting a condominium, collided with a second vehicle traveling northbound. The impact was severe,resulting in the deaths of two Argentinians who were passengers in the same car. A third passenger in that vehicle sustained critical injuries and was transported to Quillota Hospital.
The occupants of the other vehicle, Chilean citizens, escaped unharmed. However, the driver of that vehicle tested positive for alcohol and was taken into custody for further inquiry and processing by the prosecutor’s office.
