Zulia received two intermediate support ambulances that will be placed in the metropolitan area and another in the Comprehensive Social Care Points of the Guajira municipality, border with Colombia, to attend to patients with coronavirus.
Governor Omar Prieto expressed, on June 27, that ambulances have the necessary equipment for the isolation of patients with covid-19, at times when it has to be transferred to special units or CDI.
“The issue of ambulances guarantees the speed of care as we have been doing in the state,” he said.
The mayor of Maracaibo, Willy Casanova, added that the equipment of the ambulances is added to the effort made by Governor Omar Prieto, to have better capabilities and thus attend to the health of the people of Zulia. We continue as a single team working to defeat the covid-19. ”
