More and more Twitter users are demanding that Donald Trump be digitally removed from the film “Kevin – Alone in New York”.
After an angry mob of supporters of the (still) US President Donald Trump stormed into the Capitol, the head of state did not win many fans. Apart from the fact that the politician’s social media channels have been blocked, some Twitter users are now demanding that Trump be digitally removed from the film “Kevin – Alone in New York” (“Home Alone 2”).

Trump’s film scene was not planned
In the film, Macaulay Culkin, stranded in New York as Kevin McCallister, makes his way to the Plaza Hotel. There he meets Donald Trump, who shows him where to find the lobby. Recently, “Home Alone 2” director Chris Columbus told “Insider“that Trump” cheated “his way into the film.

Since you wanted to shoot the film scene in the plaza, you had to pay a fee. Trump owned the building at the time and agreed to it, but the fee alone was not enough: “You can only use the Plaza if I am in the film,” the American is said to have demanded.

Twitter users give new casting suggestions
Over the years the film has been an absolute classic, but Trump’s performance is no longer as popular with the audience as it used to be. After the run on the Capitol, the US American “MEL Magazine” author Joseph Longo asked on Twitter that the film scene with Trump should be edited: “Next, remove him digitally from Home Alone 2”. His tweet was liked more than 563,000 times.
