Twitter announced that, after a experimentation period with a new version, the number of actionable reports increased by 50%.
“We recognize that our old process for reporting violations of the Twitter Rules often left people feeling frustrated. In decemberwe started testing a new process to make it easier for people to alert Twitter about harmful behavior and thus help everyone feel supported when they need it most “The company reported in a statement.
“The new process creates a more empathetic experience for people who report potential policy violations by asking them to describe what happened and, upon completion of the loop, showing which Twitter Rules were applied to the report and why.” the company reported.
This new approach also allows Twitter to collect more first-hand information, so we can be more precise when addressing concerns on a larger scale.
The feature is now available to everyone on Twitter, in all languages, on the Web versions, as well as iOS and Android.
